The Promat DURAWALL® System
The Promat DURAWALL® system is a unique fire wall system. It comprises of rock wool-filled composite panels, doors, penetration seals, steel column and beam encasement systems, protected zones, and ceiling panels.
Uniquely, Promat DURAWALL® panels have been fully fire tested with fire doors in place, and with penetrations in the wall fire stopped with products from Promat's PROMASEAL® range. Promat DURAWALL® has extended field of application tests to allow the system to be built to up to 50m in height without loss of fire protection capability.
As well as providing up to 240 minutes fire protection, the Promat DURAWALL® system has undergone extensive blast testing and has been proven to provide high levels of protection against explosion, thereby making it indispensible for areas where risk of explosion is high or where the results of an explosion would have a catastrophic effect on business continuity.
The Promat DURAWALL® system is installed only by trained and FIRAS-registered, independently assessed, licensed contractors. During and after site work, Promat UK staff inspect all Promat DURAWALL® installations, and issue a Certificate of Manufacturer's Conformity giving additional confidence to specifier and client.
