Features of the Promat DURAWALL^® System

The Promat DURAWALL^® system is a fire barrier giving up to 240 minutes fire protection and 240 minutes blast protection to areas such as data centres and specialist storage areas. The system comprises of wall and ceiling panels, doors and penetration seals; all of which have been tested together to provide a unique barrier system. 

TESTING AND CERTIFICATION

The Promat DURAWALL^® system is fully tested up to 240 minutes integrity and insulation using a non-combustible rock wool core.

CERTIFICATES OF CONFORMITY

During installation and at completion of the project, Promat will visit the site to inspect the installation of Promat  DURAWALL^®. Upon approval, Promat will issue a full Certificate of Conformity for the barrier and its associated elements. 

LICENSED INSTALLERS

To continue the level of quality offered by the system itself, the Promat DURAWALL^® system can only be installed by FIRAS registered and licensed installation companies. These installers will have been individually trained by Promat and their systems and processes regularly reviewed. Not only is the installation process monitored, but also the administration and compliance elements of their business, to ensure the highest levels of service.

Added to the certification of the system, the Promat DURAWALL^® installers also have to achieve independent third party accreditation. All registered installation companies must be registered and trained in accordance with the FIRAS third party accreditation standards.
